Your pin project is adorable. I like the idea of working with little buttons in this way. The knitting list is rather intimidating, isn’t it? I worked on a knitting project this summer that’s almost done, the knitting part anyway, now I need to learn how to crochet so I can finish it. Guess that will wait until next summer. It’s so funny how some things overlap in projects.

Knitting is great to bring on vacation. I was knitting on the plane both to and from Florida, and while I sat outside on the balcony at our hotel. I was using wool in temp like 92-95F! Worked fine! LOL

Great job on your brooch! Very cute! Where can I get the pattern? I went to Fiona’s site but all I see are ones that she is made already. I have so many old buttons that I would rather make my own. Do you know if she sells the patterns?

I am also a winter knitter!! It just seems to go together! Long scaves that curl up on my lap as I stitch away!! Love that feeling!! Cozy knitting!

The brooch is cute.

I usually use long tail cast on so surprised you haven’t tried it. It is so quick!
