Hi Boys and Girls! Just a quick update to let you know that I’ve added two different Charm Packs to the little Thimbleanna.com store.
First is Kate Spain’s new Christmas line JOY. There are some really cute prints in this collection which you can see HERE. Wouldn’t they be cute in a Christmas tree quilt like this one from The Purl Bee? This line won’t be released until June, so this is your chance to get a head start on those Christmas projects. (Especially helpful for you guys participating in the Christmas Through the Year project hosted by Cheryl and Darlene!)
Second, is the highly anticipated VINTAGE MODERN line from Bonnie and Camille. I love this line and there are some really adorable prints in these charm packs. If you have any of Bonnie and Camille’s older lines, these go perfectly with them — you can see the new prints HERE. This line won’t be out until May — be the first one on your block to make something from Vintage Modern!
You can find both of these charm packs HERE in my little store.
And, Ooohhhhh Look! You’re not seeing a photoshopped photo here. Those are four FINISHED borders WooHoo!!! Doing a BIG happy dance here. I just have to put these borders on a pieced top and I’ll have a finished top from a LONG time UFO. Hopefully I can git ‘er done this weekend.
‘Cause the weekend’s almost here! Yipee!!!
XOXO,
Anna
I love those borders. Can’t wait to see the finished quilt. I think we are twins, separated at birth. I have a UFO applique quilt with a similar monotone background fabric. Wish my top was done.
Oh sweet! I guess I need to spend more time browsing your store…or maybe not. I’ve tried so hard to convince myself that I don’t need to buy ANYTHING else for a while. Not even that baker’s twine in many colours. And now you post Joy. Sigh.
Oh you clever person, lovely borders!
Lovely fabrics, and the borders are looking good!
Wow, those borders look awesome. So much work. And I love the charm packs; so tempting ;).
The border is exquisite! Love the charm packs too!
Ooooo. Nice borders. Can’t wait to see the finished product. I scooped up some Vintage Modern charms a few days ago. Just waiting for the package to arrive. :)
Those borders are gorgeous! Congrats on getting them done.
WOW! I love the applique! I’m not surprised that’s a UFO…that musta taken HOURS to do by hand. Hand applique is one of my nemises…can’t do it yet. Maybe someday…crochet too. ;p
Cute christmas fabrics. I’m very impressed by your borders, I’m really excited for you that you get to put the top together. I can’t wait for the reveal.
Your little shop is great,
congratulations
Congratulations on finishing such Gorgeous borders! You do such lovely stitching.
Always love to see what you have posted on your blog. I look forward to seeing the completed top.
Oh my! What fancy borders you’ve made Miss Thimble! (with the voice of Little Red Riding Hood) And what beautiful charm packs you have Miss Thimble!
well aren’t you just charming today?
love your little charm packs.
i was virking all day… but i was also dreaming about your yellow shirt and wanting to make one.
well, i don’t really want to make one, i just want one :)) so i’ll make one.
okay… so, i spend too much time working these days cuz i can’t pull myself away from my job–they just make it so dang fun–and i can’t really get up earlier.. have to figure out how to spend more time sewing. stop cooking for the fam? skip out on church? haha, i’ll squeeze it in somewhere! we have things to sew, quilts to make… places to go! speaking of places to go, are you getting excited for market?
i had fun that one time i went but it was WAY to much work for no pay and i hated being away from my family for that long. talk about indentured servitude! i would rather pop in for a day and look around than go as a worker bee… but what do i know?
okay i have to be working in six hours so i’m leaving you now.
ttfn.
:waves madly
I’m LOVING the Vintage Modern! I’ll probably have to make a purchase from you soon ;-)
I love the applique. I can’t wait to see the finished product!
Wow, I can’t even imagine attempting that quilt! I have been busy prepping for a couple classes at the knit shop. And after a visit with a friend’s mom, I was inspired to get back into my sewing room. I sent 2 quilts to the quilter last night.
Maybe I will be inspired to blog as well. :)
Cute charms. That JOY pack kind of filled me with a wee bit of holiday anxiety when I saw it. Wrong, I tell you. I must find a better way to do the holidays. Anxiety shouldn’t be a part of the mix, should it? I think not. Perhaps I should start preparation now instead of December 15th. Hmmmm….maybe….probably not.lol
Have a great weekend, Anna.
PS…The smell of baby formula also overwhelms me. There was ALOT going on in my life the last time I used baby formula. We mixed it by the gallon. Not kidding. Fun times, though. Wouldn’t trade ’em.
The borders are beautiful! And thanks for making me think of Christmas in March! ;)
Christmas already?!?! *sigh*
Packs look lovely, but WOW!!! Those borders look fabulous!!
