Merry Christmas! I’m a day late with my annual viewing of Christmas Eve breakfast, but you know — it’s a busy time of the year! This years selection was Grandma Hill’s Browned Butter Cookies, Angel Slices, Lemon Gems, and Classic Sugar Cookies. Sadly, no caramels this year as I broke my caramel pan the day before I was to make them and have had no time to order a replacement. Anyway, it’s favorite cookie time of the year!
I’ve been a little grumpy this time around — having to do with a certain telecommunications store, a Christmas purchase, and then several e-mails to the recipient of the Christmas purchase from the stupid store after the stupid store assured me several times that the e-mails wouldn’t be sent. Totally ruined the surprise and my Christmas spirit. Bah Humbug!
Alas, Christmas truly does come but once a year, so I’ve had to give myself a little pep talk and get over it. I hope you’re having a Wonderful Christmas and that Santa brings you your heart’s desire!!!
XOXO,
Anna
Merry Christmas to you – sorry your surprise didn’t go as planned.
Merry Christmas Anna! I hope you have a fabulous day – it was grey and damp here in Scotland….
Merry Christmas
Hi Anna…. despite the excitement that it is our first Christmas with baby boy, we all were a little discombobulated this year! Not to mention I slammed my thumb in the car door on Friday and can’t tell you how bad it has been hurting. However I remind myself that there’s no where to go but up. Happy New Year my friend! ?
Those cookies look scrumptious! And as for your troubles with the telecommunications store – it seems to me that, as advanced as we fancy ourselves in the communications department, it’s a case of for every step forward we take three back. Remember the ‘good ole days?’ When you could dial a number and a human being would answer? Anyway. That’s small potatoes. We have a New Year to look forward to in which the world will have an opportunity to remember its manners!
Happy Christmas Anna xx
merry merry Christmas (late) and a Blessed New Year
