1 15-oz. can black beans (drained)
1 15-oz. can white peg corn (drained)
1/2 c. finely chopped green pepper

I don’t think it looks ugly. I think it looks yummy!
That dip looks yummy! By any chance do you know the name of the fabric on the right side of the photo? Several years ago I purchased a precut jelly roll that had a strip of that red with orange flowers fabric.
I’m glad you’re seeing Spring come alive in your corner. We’ve got a chilly, rainy weekend after hitting the 80s a few days this past week. (Yo-yo-ing weather.;)
That dip looks fabulous!. I’m droolin’. Thanks for the recipe. Have a great weekend!
Looks good and sounds good. Thanks for the recipe. I will try it! Hope you are enjoying the weather!
Yum! Must try this dip (although to me it’s more like a salad).
Glad to know that Spring has finally arrived at your end of the world. Happy Spring to you too.
Not sure about the dip, but loved the Mother Goose tale!
Might be ugly but looks delicious. It would have gone perfectly with our Mexican dinner last night.
Thanks for sharing the recipe.
Chop up some romaine and put the bean dip on top with some grilled chicken and voila! Dinner!
ha ha ha!!! we have a recipe for cookies that took on the name “dianne’s mom’s ugly oatmeal cookies” and they are goooooood!!! but they are U-G-L-Y – and they ain’t got no alibi…
Hehehe love the name, still looks yummie. Your pictures are so beautiful, you must give me tips on photography when we meet :)
It looks good to me and that’s saying something since I’m still stuffed from lunch at Joe’s Crab Shack. I’ll have to save this one and try it here. Thanks!
Not ugly — beeyouuuteeful!
Pass the cip.
DIP
Tut tut, Anna, not much sewing?
Must Google cilantro…
Aha, coriander. Another example of our being divided by a common language…
Wow, that dip looks good!! I’ll add it to my ever growing list of things to try (darn pinterest!)
And I am loving this weather! I think I’ve spent more time outside than I have inside lately. Spring sure took a long time to get here this year, and I want to enjoy every beautiful minute of it. :)
white peg corn?
@isabel i’m sure anna emailed you and explained, but in the us cilantro is the leaf (and the plant) and coriander is the seed and the spice made from the ground seed. anna, do you know if cilantro is spanish and maybe we got that from mexican and/or spanish cooking… i’ll need to find that out. now i want to know the “why”
YUMMERS! That sounds delicious!
Ooh, now that looks GOOD!
Looks yummy.. Good when you can put something together that’s a favourite with everyone :-)
