Thimbleanna

Breaker, Breaker

kids walkingThank you so much for all your sympathy regarding my lasagne faux pas. It appears I’m not alone with my memory problems LOL! I had a few requests for the recipe, so I’ve posted it in my recipe section — you can find it here.

I’m very excited — today was my last day of work until Monday, November 26th. WooHoo – a 10-day break! I’m hoping to make the best use of my time and fill my days with cleaning, sewing, baking, and shopping. NOT in that order. Must get started on Christmas sewing and shopping. And I’m really hoping to have a day where I can sit down at the computer and go through some pictures. I’m pretty good at taking the time to take pictures, but I don’t take the time to get them printed and I’m several events behind. MeMum has been so good to keep albums for the kids over the years, and she’s been requesting copies of my pictures for the last year. Must Do That, but it won’t be easy — whenever I sit down at the computer, your blogs call me!

If the mail service will cooperate, I’ll soon have a few sewing items to show you. In the meantime, I hope you all have a great weekend!

XOXO,
Anna

  1. How lovely! Enjoy the break….it’ll probably fly like anything. And I’m just as bad with getting photos printed out. I’m real good at downloading from the camera, but pathetic at taking them a mere five minutes up the road to be printed out. We don’t have one of those printers that do proper photos. My mum and the geezer’s mum have been asking for photos of the bub, too. I like your photo of your young lovebirds…oh to be younger again!

  2. Oh enjoy your break Anna. Hope you get everything done that you want,

No hint of sarcasm or irony in that comment today!

We are bad at printing pics off too…and we take tons!!!
Enjoy your break! Ten days off = Fabulous!!

  4. Anna – enjoy, enjoy, enjoy!! Thank you for another wonderful recipe! I’m going to make it next week – that’s when The Man is home again! Oh no – next week is TURKEY!!! The week after, for sure! Love the photo of the kids – very sweet! Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!!

  5. Enjoy that sweet chunk of time sister and get done what you have to and make sure you get done what you WANT to. Time always goes by so fast and sometimes I don’t allow enough time for the things that I want, so then I feel jipped, LOL. So make sure you have thimbleanna time.

Cute cute pic of engaged couple :)

    Hugs – Karen
